The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), a Colorado non-profit, tax-exempt corporation owns the Federal Certification Mark for "Certified Professional Inspector (CPI)." The USPTO registration number is 3716985. This is a certification mark used by inspectors who qualify for the designation. Those who have earned the designation often use the abbreviations CPI and C.P.I., and InterNACHI also claims common-law trademark rights on CPI and C.P.I. within the inspection industry.
“We were very pleased with the thoroughness of the inspection and the report. We appreciated the 'walk-through’ to point out and discuss with us the problems and needed repairs which gave us the opportunity to ask questions and see the items that had been identified. The pictures included in the report are particularly helpful. We received a written report via email within 2 days of the inspection, and a hard copy report via mail a few days later. Both included the pictures. Mike Phegley was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. We have already referred him to a friend.” - Marilyn P., HomeAdvisor
